Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Educational Qualification
PPE (Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering) Course:
Qualifying Exam: Passed 10th or equivalent exam with two years ITI. OR Passed the 10th or equivalent exam along with two-year work experiences in a firm/company/business/institution or government/non-government organization.
Minimum Percentage: Securing 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually.
Age Limit: The minimum age should be 19 years as of 1/7/2023 (Expected).
PE (Polytechnic Engineering) Course:
Qualifying Exam: Passed or appearing 10th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with securing a minimum of 35% marks.
Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit.
PMD (Para Medical Dental) Course:
Qualifying Exam: Aspirants should have cleared or appeared in the 10th or equivalent exam from CBSE, ICSE, or another recognized board with core subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
Age Limit: The minimum age should be 15 years and the maximum should be 30 years or on 31st December 2023 (Expected).
PM (Para Medical) Course:
Qualifying Exam: For Diploma in Pharmacy, candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent exams with physics, chemistry, English, maths, and biology subjects.
For the GNM course, candidates should have cleared the 12th or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, and biology subjects by securing a minimum of 40% marks for general candidates and 35% marks for reserved candidates.
Age Limit: The minimum age should be 17 years and the maximum 32 years (35 years for GNM) as on 31st December 2023 (Expected). Candidates must be an Indian citizens and should be medically fit.
Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Nationality
Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Candidates, whose parents are permanent residents of Bihar state can apply.
Candidates whose parents are registered refugees from Bihar state can also apply.
Candidates whose parents are government employees of Bihar state are also eligible.
Candidates, whose parents are designated employees of the Indian government or designated employees of the Indian government under undertakings/institutes in Bihar can also apply.
Candidates whose parents are employed in the nation & presently designated in Bihar are also eligible.
Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria
Candidates have to qualify for their intermediate (with science) or 12th Science Vocational or Technical to get admission in the 2nd year of the polytechnic.
Candidates who complete 10th + ITI (2 years) are also eligible.
There is no age limit for applying.
Candidates should be a citizen of India and their parents should belong to the Bihar state.
Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Exam Pattern
Course: Bihar Polytechnic Exam 2023 DCECE will be conducted for admission to diploma-level courses. It will be conducted for PE/ PPE/ PMD/ PM courses.
Mode of Exam: DCECE will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based mode).
Duration: A total of 2 hours and 15 minutes will be allotted to the candidates to answer the questions.
Language: The question paper will be asked in English & Hindi language.
Answer Marking: Candidates should use black & blue pens to mark the answers.
Number of Questions: Total number of questions will be 90.
Question Paper Type: The question paper of the Bihar Polytechnic exam will consist of objective-type questions. A total of four optional answers will be provided for every question and candidates are required to circle (mark) the correct option only.
Subjects: For PE/PPE course, the questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. For the PM course, the question will come from General Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Numerical Ability, Hindi, English, and GK.
Marking Scheme: Five marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
Negative Marking: No negative marking.
