Army Agniveer GD 2023 | Notification

Recently, Indian Army released the notification of Army Agniveer GD 2023. According to the official notification, the online exam of Army Agniveer GD will be conducted before the rally recruitment. Indian Army GD is a subdivision of the Indian Army's General Duty division. There are various types of ground soldiers in this section, including fighting troops, riflemen, gunners, drivers, land defence forces, operators, and so on. Apart from this, positions in the Army Medical Corps (AMC), Army Service Corps (ASC), Ordinance, and so on are covered by the Indian Army General Duty Section.

Army Agniveer GD 2023 | Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to apply for the Army Agniveer GD 2023. The following are the eligibility criteria for the Army: Army Educational Qualification, Army Age Limit, and Army Physical Standards:

Army Agniveer GD Educational Qualification

Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Note- Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.

Army Agniveer GD Age limit

Candidates born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Age: 17.5 years
  • Maximum Age: 21 years

Army Agniveer GD Physical Standards

  • Height: 169 cm (minimum)
  • Chest: Minimum 77 cm and 5 cm expansion

Agniveer Army GD 2023 Perks and Allowances - 

  • The Agniveer pay is a composite salary package and is not eligible for any Dearness Allowance or Military Service Pay. 
  • Agniveers will get Risk & Hardship, Ration, Dress, and Travel allowances from time to time.
  • Agniveers are exempted from making any contribution to the Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund or other Provident Fund.
  • There will be no entitlement of gratuity or pensionary benefits for Agniveers enrolled through the Agneepath scheme.
  • Life Insurance Cover- Agniveers are provided with non-contributory life insurance of Rs. 48 lakhs for the complete duration of their engagement period. They are not eligible for Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF) schemes and benefits.

Army Agniveer GD 2023 | Medical Standards

  • Candidates must be both physically and mentally fit.
  • The chest should be adequately developed, with at least a 5 cm expansion.
  • The candidate must have normal hearing in both ears as well as excellent binocular vision in both eyes.
  • Candidates must be able to read 6/6 on the distant vision chart with each eye separate.
  • Candidates must have at least 14 dental points as well as a sufficient number of natural, healthy gums and teeth.
  • Candidates must be free of bone deformities, hydroceles, varicocele, and piles.
  • Candidates must be able to distinguish between the colors red and green.

Army Agniveer GD 2023 | Admit Card

Admit cards for the Indian Army Agniveer GD 2023 exam will be available for candidates 15 days before the exam. Candidates will receive their admit cards for rally recruitment after the online exam is completed. Candidates who have not received their admit card four days before the rally may obtain additional information by contacting the Army Recruiting Office.
