BSF Constable Tradesman Exam Date
As per the Schedule, BSF Constable Tradesman Exam Date is coming in the first week of October 2022. A fixed date is not announced and official notification is being awaited from BSF Portal. You will get 15 Days of time to prepare for the exam and then the admit card will be released. BSF Constable Exam is conducted in Offline mode across various centers. The exam is also expected to be conducted in multiple phases.

BSF Tradesman Constable Recruitment 2022 Selection Procedure
Candidates who submitted complete online application forms will be invited to sit the PST/PET, followed by the Trade Test. Candidates who pass the first phase of the examination (PST, PET, Documentation, and Trade Test) will be invited to take the second and third phases of the examination. The steps in the selection process are listed below.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :
Those Who Qualify for the PST Will be Called For the PET- Race Will be Conducted Under PET

Trade Test :
Candidates who pass the PST/PET/Documentation will be called for the Trade Test. Each candidate will be permitted to appear in only one trade test, as specified on the application form.
Cobbler ➤ Polishing of Shoes, handling tools, cutting of leather, repair & stitching of Shoes.
Tailor➤ Taking measurements of Persons, cutting of cloth, and Stitching of Uniforms.
Cook➤ Cooking of Chapati & Rice, Cooking of vegetable/ Dal/ Samber/ Idli etc for 100 men. Cooking of Meat/ Fish/ Egg/ Kheer.
Barber ➤ Handling of tools, Hair Cutting, Shaving.
Sweeper ➤ Sweeping Cleaning of toilets Cleaning of Bathrooms etc.
Washer Man ➤ Washing of clothes Ironing of Khaki Cotton Uniform Woolen, Terry cotton Uniforms.
Waiter ➤ Hygiene/ Sanitation, Servicing of Foods and allied matters.
BSF Constable Tradesman Written Exam
After clearing all phases, then the candidate will receive the admit card date and exam date for the written exam, the pattern of the written exam is as follows :
Exam Pattern :
► Test will be conducted on an OMR basis.
► Time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► The written test will be of 100 Marks/ Questions. Each Part Will be of 25 Marks/ Questions.
► Cut-off marks for written examination will be 35% for General and Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
► The questions will be set both in Hindi and English. Candidates will have the option to answer either in Hindi or English.

BSF Constable Tradesman Syllabus
The exam Syllabus for Constable (Tradesman) written test is given below:-
General Awareness/General Knowledge: History, Geography, and Socio-Economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The Paper will also include questions on the Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, and Geography of India.
Knowledge of elementary Mathematics: The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
Analytical Aptitude and ability to Observe the Distinguish Pattern: It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal types. Questions will be asked about analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, relationships, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, etc.
General Hindi/English:
English: The candidate's ability to understand correct English, basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked about error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles, etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
