The IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has released an official notification for the IBPS Clerk 2023 Exam. Interested candidates can fill the online application form for the IBPS Clerk 2023 through the official website of IBPS. Date of online registration has begun from 1st July, 2023 and the last date to apply for the clerk post is 21st July, 2023. IBPS has declared 4045 as a total number of vacancies. IBPS is the main body which conducts IBPS Clerk 2023 exams every year for recruiting candidates for clerical posts in 11 public banks across the country. IBPS Clerk 2023| Eligibility Criteria

To get selected in the recruitment of IBPS Clerk 2023, candidates must fulfill the Eligibility Criterion given by the IBPS body. This criterion is completely depended on some factors like-age limit, academic qualifications, nationality, etc. Check the details of the IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2023 in the following table given below:-

Academic Qualification

Other important factor to decide the eligibility is the academic qualification of the candidate-
In this Common Recruitment Process (CRP), the academic qualification which is required for Clerk post is:
1)     A candidate must have completed his/her graduation as a minimum qualification from any recognized university in any discipline or should have any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
2)     The candidate should possess knowledge of basic computer as Operating and working knowledge of computers is mandatory in exam.

Age Limit

Age limit for the candidate should be between 20 Years to 28 Years. A candidate should not have been born earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2003.
Relaxation of Upper age limit-
IBPS has granted some relaxation of the upper age limit for special category candidates and they are as follows:

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam settle permanently in India.

IBPS Clerk 2023| Selection Process

The IBPS Clerk CRP XIII selection process has mainly 2 phases. Aspirants must pass all these 2 main stages to get recruited for required position. These two phases are-
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Mains Examination
Note: There is no interview required in the selection process of candidates if they have completed the Mains exam.

IBPS Clerk 2023| Exam Pattern

Understanding the question paper pattern is most important as to score good marks, one should have the idea of the types of questions asked in such exams. There are some important points about the upcoming exam pattern-
1.  The Prelim exam will be of 100 marks and Mains will be 200.
2.  Duration of the Prelim exam will be 1 hour while for the Mains it is 160 minutes.
3.  There is also a penalty for wrong answers in both the exams (Prelim and Mains). On every wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.

IBPS Clerk 2023| Pre-Exam Training (PET)

Pre Examination Training is the training process arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations for candidates who belong to SC/ST/ Minority/OBC/Ex-servicemen/person with disabilities. Due to the calamity of COVID 19, this PET cannot be arranged but this time as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India for this training session will be held in August 2023. Candidates belonging from the above categories can apply for this training online while filling the application form. The PET will be given free of cost but all the other expenses like travelling, boarding, lodging, etc. will be bear by the candidates.

IBPS Clerk 2023| Result

IBPS will declare the results of the Clerk 2023 exam after the commencement of both papers. The final category and state-wise merit list will be prepared by the official body which has the details of marks secured by candidates in their online mains examination. Candidates whose details will be on the list are considered as selected for the post of clerk in banks.

2)    Click on the link ‘IBPS Clerk CRP XIII’ given on the homepage.
3)    Then open the tab “Click Here for New Registration” by entering your mobile number, email id and other details.
4)   Fill out the form with your correct details to register yourself.
5)   Upload your passport size photo, signature, left thumb impression and a scanned copy of IBPS Clerk Handwritten Declaration.

7)   Pay the application fees online.
