JEE Main 2023 Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) in India conducts the JEE Main, a national engineering entrance exam. It is held for aspirants to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally supported technical institutes' undergraduate engineering programmes (CFTIs). JEE Main is a standardised exam given in various Indian states. To provide admission to some of the top government-funded or privately-owned engineering and technical institutions, the exam is given at the undergraduate level.
JEE Main Exam is generally conducted for three groups of aspirants:

Paper 1 is for students aspiring to take up B.E. or B. Tech. courses.

Paper 2B is for students aspiring to take a B. Planning course.

This year, the authorities significantly changed the JEE Main 2023, including raising the registration fee. For the JEE Main 2023 exam, general male candidates must pay Rs. 1000, while female students must pay Rs. 800.

Age Criteria

The candidates who are born on or after October 1, 1998 will be eligible for JEE Main 2023

SC/ST and PWD candidates are eligible for age relaxation of 5 years but they must be born on or after October 1st, 1993

10th certificateās date of birth will be considered,
Academic Qualification

The candidates must have cleared 10+2 or the equivalent exam from a very recognized board
-
Those who appeared in 12th exam in 2020 but did not clear it, are not eligible for exam again, even if they clear it later
-
PCM must be required subjects in the qualifying exam
-
Those who will appear in the qualifying exam will also get considered
JEE Main 2023 Attempts

There is a limitation on the number of JEE exam attempts. A student may retake the exams if they don't pass on their first attempt.

Candidates who appear for both sessions during the same academic year are treated as having made one attempt, and the highest of the two scores is used to rank the students.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern
In order to prepare for the exam, candidates must be familiar with the JEE Main exam format and marking scheme. B.Tech. paper 1 and B.Plan. and B.Arch. paper 2 make up the exam. The PCM subjects make up the JEE Main 2023, and each subject has 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerically based questions, of which 5 must be answered. The total score for the JEE Main 2023 exam is 300.
