SBI PO Recruitment 2023 Salary
SBI PO will get Salary after every month. SBI has set the amount of the salary for the Apprentices. Furthermore, the apprentices are eligible for any other allowances/ benefits apart from the salary. They will get DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. Moreover, the basic pay for PO position is Rs 41,960/-. The increments will be 41960-980 (7) – 48820 – 1145 (2) – 51110 – 1310 (7) – 60280/-. However, detailed description is given below in the table-

Any candidate applying for SBI PO 2023 must meet the eligibility criteria, which include the following, according to the SBI PO Notification 2023.

- The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship
- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
- Lastly, a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

A candidate must be at least 21 years old and no older than 30 years old at the time of registration to apply for the SBI PO 2023 examination. Aside from that, there is also age relaxation applicable to category-wise candidates for SBI PO 2023 as per government norms.

SBI PO Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
To prepare for any examination, candidate must have the complete knowledge of that particular exam. Similarly, to prepare for SBI PO 2023 Exam, one should have the knowledge of its Exam Pattern. The structure of online written examination would be as follows-
SBI PO 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern
The SBI Preliminary Examination consisting of an Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. Furthermore, the test will have 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

- Note: 1/4th mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
- Selection criteria for the Main Examination: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. However, there will be no sectional cut-off. Hence, candidates numbering 10 times (approx.) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the top of the above merit list.
SBI PO 2023 Mains Exam Pattern
The main examination will be held online and will consist of 200-mark Objective Tests and a 50-point Descriptive Test. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately following the Objective Test, and candidates will be required to type their answers on the computer.

- Selection criteria for Phase III: A category-wise merit list will be created based on the total number of marks secured in Phase II (Main Exam). Additionally, there will be no sectional severance.
- At last, candidates from the top of the category-wise merit list, numbering up to three times (approx.) the number of vacancies, will be shortlisted for Phase III, subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as determined by the Bank.
SBI PO 2023 Group Discussion & Interview
Psychometric Test: The Bank may conduct a Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase III. The finding of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
Phase III of SBI PO consists of two tests which are given in the table below:

SBI PO 2023 Final Selection
Candidates must qualify in both Phase II and Phase III separately. For preparing the final merit list, the marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III. The bank will not add the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) marks when preparing the final merit list for selection.
The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase II (Main Examination both Objective & Descriptive Tests) and Phase III (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalized to 100 marks as detailed below.
