SSC has released the SSC Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Final Answer Key.
What is SSC CAPFs (CPO) 2022?
SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CPO exam or Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization exam is a national-level test conducted by SSC to select eligible candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). All the SSC CPO posts fall under the Central Government. Like most Central Government jobs, they have outstanding salaries and perks like dearness allowance, medical allowance, conveyance allowance, house rent allowance, top-of-the-line insurance, retirement benefits, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CAPFs (CPO) 2022
Nationality | Must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan. Migrated candidates should have the necessary citizenship documents from Govt. of India. |
Age | Minimum – 20 years and Maximum 25 years (not before 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2002). |
Age relaxation | SC/ST – 5 years OBC – 3 years Ex-servicemen (ESM) -3 years (after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date) Jammu & Kashmir candidates during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 – 5 years (For the posts of SI and ASI in CAPFs only) Female Candidates who are widow, divorced, judicially separated from their husbands, and who are not re-married – Upto 35 (Group ‘C’ Posts only) SC / ST Female Candidates get up to 40 years of relaxation. Examination date SSC CAPFs (CPO) 2022 –
The official SSC CPO 2022 notification was released on 10 August 2022 by the Staff Selection Commission. As per the latest exam calendar released by SSC, the application process is scheduled to end on 30 August 2022 and the exam will be conducted in November 2022. Though the examination date has not been announced yet.
Selection Process SSC CAPFs (CPO) 2022 –
- Paper 1 written exam
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Paper 2 written exam
- Medical Examination
SSC CPO Paper 1
- The paper 1 exam will include multiple choice questions (objective type).
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- The exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks.

Medical Examination (for all posts) –
- All the candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
- Candidates, who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before the Medical Board within 15 days.
- Eye sight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. Right-handed person, the right eye is a better eye and vice versa.
- The candidate must not have a knock knee, flat foot, swollen vein or cross-eyes and they should possess high color vision.
- They must be in good mental and physical health and free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
Finally selected candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector would, as part of the training curriculum, have to pass seven obstacle events as mentioned below, failing which they may not be retained in the Force:
- Jumping over the vertical board.
- Holding the rope on jumping from the board.
- Tarzan Swing.
- Jumping on the horizontal board.
- Parallel Rope.
- Monkey Crawl.
- Vertical Rope.
Important Note –National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate holders (as on 30.08.2022) will be given bonus marks in Paper-I and Paper-II. It will be added to the normalized scores of such candidates as per the following scheme –

How to apply for SSC CAPFs (CPO) 2022
- Go to the official website https://ssc.nic.in/
- Register with your username (registration number) and password.
- Fill in all the required details (save the information).
- Proceed to the online application form.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Submit the fees.
Application Fee –
- Fee payable: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fees.
- Fees can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Online fees can be paid by the candidates up to 31.08.2022.
- Candidates who wish to make cash payments through the SBI challan may make the payment at designated branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 31.08.2022, provided the challan has been generated by them before 30.08.2022.
