SSC CHSL 2022 | Citizenship
The candidates need to fulfill the following Citizenship criteria to be eligible for SSC CHSL Exam 2022:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, intending to permanently settle in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.

- The SSC CHSL Tier I exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) exam conducted online.
- Candidates are given a total of 60 minutes to solve the SSC CHSL Tier-I paper comprising 100 questions that count to a total of 200 marks (2 marks each question).
- For each wrong attempt, candidates are penalised with 1/2 marks in the Tier-1 exam.

SSC CHSL Document Verification Process
Candidates must bring the original photo identity proof and two recent passport-sized photographs to the document verification process. The following are the required photo identification proofs:
