Date: 28 December 2022- Admit Card Released

The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC GD Admit Card 2023 on December 28, 2022, and the hall ticket is now available for the NWR, WR, and MPR regions. The SSC GD 2023 Constable Admit Card for the remaining regions will be released soon by the commission. The SSC GD Admit Card 2023 is released separately for each region on the candidate's local regional websites. SSC GD 2023 Exam for Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles would attract lakhs of applications. A total of 45284 Constable positions will be filled through this recruitment campaign, including 40274 male candidates, 4835 female candidates, and 175 NCB positions. According to the vacancy list, 20765 BSF posts, 5914 CISF posts, 11169 CRPF posts, 2167 SSB posts, 1787 ITBP posts, 3153 AR posts, and 154 SSF posts would be filled.

Previously, there were 24369 openings to be filled through this recruiting campaign. The number of available positions has increased.

Date: 27 October 2022- Notification out and Exam Pattern Changed

SSC has released the official examination notification for GD constables in various forces. The exam pattern for SSC GD 2023 has changed now. Earlier a total of 100 questions were asked which has now reduced to only 80. The total allotted time has also been reduced to 60 minutes from 90 minutes. The application process has been started on 27 October 2022 and will end on 30 November 2022.

What is SSC GD Constable?

The official full form of SSC GD is Staff Selection Commission, General Duty. The department of SSC GD is responsible for recruiting candidates for Constable and Riflemen posts. SSC GD Constable Exam is being conducted by the Staff Selection Commission of India to recruit candidates for the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, and Rifleman in AR.

Exam Pattern
