HTET Exam Date 2022

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) exam is a state-level exam that is conducted to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at Elementary, Secondary, and Senior Secondary levels, one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana. The HTET Exam Date 2022 is rescheduled for the 3rd and 4th of December from the previous date 12th November to 13th November 2022. According to the new official notice from the board, the HTET Exam Date 2022 will be conducted on the 3rd and 4th of December 2022.

In the recent notice from the official board, the board said that the HTET Exam 2022 admit card is out now and the exam will now be conducted on the 3rd and 4th of December 2022.

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) issued the HTET Notification 2022 on September 16, 2022. The HTET 2022 Application Process 2022 began on September 17, 2022, and has been extended until September 30, 2022.

HTET Eligibility | Education Qualification

All individuals who meet the minimum educational requirements, etc. defined in the service rules governing teachers at all three levels will be eligible for the HTET Exam, the short information along with detailed minimum education qualification is listed below:

  • Level 1 (PRT for Classes 1 to 5): Class 12 pass with at least 50 percent marks along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
  • Level 2 (TGT for Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree with D.EI.Ed or BEd
  • Level 3 (PGT for above Class 8): Master’s Degree along with BEd
  1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
    • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

1) TGT Social Studies

i) B.A./B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.A. /B.Com with at least 50% marks and 2 years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR

B.A. /B.Com with at least 45% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), ; OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Com Ed.; OR

B.A./B.Com at least 50% marks and 2 year B.Ed. (Special Education) AND

ii) In case of B.A. /B.Com, in addition to English, a combination of at least two subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects during all the years of study out of the following:- (1) History (2) Political Science (3) Economics (4) Geography

2) TGT Science

i) B.Sc. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR

B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 31 August, 2009; OR

B.Sc. with at least 45% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. Ed.; OR

B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND

ii) In the case of B.Sc., a combination of at least three subjects out of the following:- (1) Physics (2) Chemistry (3) Botany (4) Zoology (5) Mathematics

3) TGT Mathematics

(i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks in Mathematics as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education ; OR
B.A./B.Sc. /B.Com with at least 50% marks as well as in Mathematics as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Mathematics as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc/B.Com Ed. or B.A Ed./B.Sc. Ed./B.Com. Ed.; OR

4) TGT English

(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in English as compulsory or elective or Core or Honours subject and English as a teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed. (Diploma in Education )/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.); OR
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in English as compulsory or elective or Core or Honours subject and English as a teaching subject in Bachelor or Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) ; OR
Four Years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in English Subject; OR
Four years Integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in English subject;
(ii) Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or Higher Education.

5) TGT Hindi

(i) B.A. with at least 50% marks in Hindi as an elective subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education ; OR
B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Hindi as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Hindi as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.),; OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR

B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Sanskrit as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR

7) TGT Punjabi

(i) B.A. with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) ; OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA Ed.; OR

8) TGT Urdu

(i) B.A. with at least 50% marks in Urdu as an elective subject and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
B.A. with at least 50% marks as well as in Urdu as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) ; OR
B.A. with at least 45% marks as well as 50% marks in Urdu as an elective subject and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.); OR

9) TGT Physical Education

(i) Graduate with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or its equivalent from a recognized
University;
(ii) Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject;

10) TGT Home Science

(i) B.Sc. Home Science and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
B.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
B.Sc. Home Science with at least 45% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year BA/B.Sc. Ed.; OR
B.Sc. Home Science with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education OR

(ii) In case of B.A., at least 50% marks in Home Science as one of the elective subject;

11) TGT Art

(i) B.F.A./B.A. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
B.F.A./B.A. with at least 50% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
B.F.A./B.A. with at least 45% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA Ed. OR
B.F.A./B.A. with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND

(ii) In case of B.A. Arts, at least 50% marks in Fine Art as an Elective subject,
(iii) In case of B.Ed., Fine Art as a teaching subject from a recognized University.
(iv) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.

12) TGT Music

(i) B.A. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR
B.A. with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
B.A. with at least 45% marks and 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) OR
Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year BA Ed.; OR
B.A. with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND

(ii) In the case of B.A Music (instrumental/ vocal), at least 50% marks in Music as an Elective subject.;
(iii) In case of B.Ed., Music as a teaching subject from a recognized university;
(iv) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.

(i) English, (ii) Hindi, (iii) Geography, (iv) Home Science, (v) Sociology, (vi) Psychology, (vii) Punjabi, (viii) Urdu, (ix) History;

(x) PGT Political Science

(i) M.A. Political Science or M.A. Public Administration with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject; AND
(iii) Consistent good academic record.

(xi) PGT Sanskrit

“(i) (a) M.A. in Sanskrit or Acharya with at least 50% marks from a recognized university; and
(b) Shiksha Shastri or Language Teacher Course or Oriental Training in Sanskrit from a recognized university or Conducted by Haryana Education Department or B.Ed. from a recognized university; and”.
(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects; AND
(iii) Consistent good academic record.

(xii) PGT Biology
(i) M.Sc. Zoology/ Botany/ Bio-Sciences/ Bio-Chemistry/ Genetics/ Micro-Biology/ Plant Physiology/ Bio-technology/ Life Sciences/
Molecular Bio/ Clinical Bio-Chemistry/ Agricultural BioTechnology/ Bio-Informatics/ Medical Bio-Technology/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Bio-Technology/ Food Technology/ Forensic Sciences/ Microbial Bio- Technology/ Genomics with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from a recognized university;

HTET Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for HTET level 1, level 2, and level 3 is given below:

  • There will be only one paper.
  • All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
  • A total of 150 Questions will be asked.
  • Total time Two-and-a-half hours (2.5 hours)will be given.
  • There will be no negative marking.

Qualifying Marks:

  • For all Categories except Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged: 60% (90 Marks)
  • For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged of Haryana Domicile: 55% (82 Marks)
  • For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged of Other State: 60% (90 Marks)

HTET Admit Card

The HTET Admit Card will be released soon. The HTET exam date has been released by the board, the exam date is 3rd and 4th December 2022.

How to Download HTET Admit Card?

The steps to download HTET admit card are as follows:

  • Visit the official website https://bseh.org.in/home
  • On the middle of screen, there is a 'News' Section.
  • In this section, Click HTET Admit Card link.
  • After that, fill the required details and download your Admit Card.
  • Don't forget to keep a print-out of your admit card.

HTET Answer Key

The HTET Answer Key will be released after conducting the exam. Usually, the answer keys are uploaded by the conducting boards 15 to 20 days after the examination:

  • After Examination the answer keys of level-1, 2, and 3 will be uploaded on the Board’s website www.bseh.org.in.
  • There is a provision for the candidates to file an objection on the Answer Keys through the link available on the Board’s website.
  • A fee of Rs. 1000/- per question will be required to be submitted.

Q1. What is the validity of HTET Certificate?

Ans. The Validity Period of the HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the issuance date of certificate for all levels.

Q2. How many attempts for the HTET exam are there?

Ans. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring HTET certificate.

Q3. Are candidates allowed to retake HTET exam or Improvement exam?

Ans. Candidates who have already qualified HTET will have the option to appear in the fresh HTET to improve their score, if they so desire.

Q4. From which date the HTET certificate validity will be counted?

Ans. If the result of HTET is declared late or revised on the part of candidate then validity of the certificate will be considered from the
date of declaration of main result.

Q5. Who conducts the HTET Exam?

Ans. The Board of School Education, Haryana conducts the examination for HTET candidates.
