Steps to download UPSSSC PET admit card 2022:

The UPSSSC PET Admit card is now officially available to download. Candidates can log in to the official website of the UPSSSC to check their admit card. Below are the steps to download the UPSSSC PET admit card 2022.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website @
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Download Admit Card link" from the list
  • Step 3: On the new window, Login using your:
    • Registration Number
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender and,
    • Security Code
  • Step 4: Click on "download admit card"
  • Step 5: Save your admit card.

UPSSSC PET Exam Date 2022 Rescheduled

As per the latest notification from Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC), the UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam has been rescheduled to 15th & 16th October 2022 (Saturday & Sunday). Those who have submitted their applications for the preliminary test will be able to sit in the UPSSSC PET 2022 exam.

UPSSSC PET is an Eligibility Test for recruiting Group B and C posts. From 2022 onwards, it is mandatory to register and apply through PET for various Examinations and posts under the UPSSSC, like the secretariat posts, lekhpal, etc. 

UPSSSC is conducting the UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam to shortlist candidates for Mains Exams. Depending on a candidate’s PET score, they are selected for various Group C Government Jobs in Uttar Pradesh. And thereafter recruited for the Group "B" and "C" posts in the Uttar Pradesh state.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSSC PET 2022

The recruiting board has set specific standards for those who plan to apply for this recruitment process. Candidates must meet requirements such as age, education level, and others. Along with the 28th June 2022 notice, UPSSSC released the online form link for the UPSSSC PET 2022. The deadline for submitting a UPSSSC PET registration form is July 31, 2022. (closed).   • Pay the application fee through a debit card/ credit card or UPI. The details of the application fee are mentioned below.
  • Preview your application form and check the details.
  • Take a printout for future reference.

To successfully submit the UPSSC PET online application, all candidates must pay the application fee. Each category of the candidate has a varied fee, as shown in the table below.

Selection Process

Candidates who apply for the UPSSSC PET Exam will be going through the following stages to complete the selection process.

  1. Qualify PET
  2. Clear Mains Exam of concerned Post
  3. Interview/Skill test (if Applicable) 
  4. Joining

As per the UPSSSC Selection Process, a candidate must qualify for the Preliminary Eligibility Test to appear for the main exam for the concerned post. Minimum Qualifying Marks or UPSSSC PET cutoff are determined by the conducting bodies based on multiple factors such as:

  • The total number of candidates appearing for the UPSSSC PET Exam.
  • Difficulty Level of the paper. 
  • Previous year's UPSSSC Cutoff Trends.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Exam Pattern

Candidates who want to pass the UPSSSC PET 2022 examination need to be mindful of the exam pattern in order to properly prepare. The following are some key details about the UPSSSC PET exam format:

  • Objective Type Test: UPSSSC PET Exam is an Objective Type test that will be conducted offline in the allocated examination center. 
  • Marks & No. of Questions: In the PET Exam, there will be 100 Questions for a total of 100 Marks.
  • Negative Marking: Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the UPSSSC PET Exam.
  • Total Duration:  2 Hours
