Agniveer Vayu Application Fee 2025
The examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through a payment gateway.
Refund of Multiple Payments: If multiple payments are received from a candidate against a single application, then that will be refunded back to the originating account after the closing of registration and reconciliation of all payment records. However, if the candidate is found to have filled out multiple applications, only one application will be accepted and the amount with respect to other applications not considered for the recruitment process will not be refunded. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and shall not be kept in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Agniveer Vayu Education Qualification

(a) Eligibility Criteria for Science Subjects:
Candidates should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three years of Diploma Courses in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State, and UT recognized Polytechnic institutes with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
Passed Two years of Vocational Courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
(b) Eligibility Criteria for Other Than Science Subjects:
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed two years of Vocational Courses from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Courses (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
Note – 1: Candidates eligible for Science Subjects examination (Including Intermediate/ 10+2/three years diploma course in engineering or two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects of Physics and Maths) are also eligible for Other than Science Subjects and would be given an option of appearing in both Science Subjects and Other than Science Subjects examination in one sitting while filling up the online registration form.
Note – 2: Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT as on date of registration shall only be considered.
Note – 3: Exact aggregate Percentage of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination/Three years Diploma Course/Two years Vocational Course OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board / Polytechnic Institute shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).

Agniveer Vayu Adaptability Test Pattern
Adaptability Test-I – All candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) must complete the Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test) to determine their suitability for employment in the IAF, which includes deployment in a variety of geographical topography, weather, and operational circumstances.
Adaptability Test-II – As per current policy, all candidates who pass Adaptability Test-I must take Adaptability Test-II. The purpose of the Adaptability Test-II is to select individuals who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and acclimatize to military life.

IAF Agniveer Vayu Salary
Under the Agnipath Scheme, the candidates will receive a monthly package with additional perks. The candidates will receive a package of INR 30,000 with an in-hand pay of INR 21,000 in their first year of employment. The remainder of their pay will be credited to their Seva Nidhi Package at the end of four years. Candidates under the Agnipath plan will also receive predetermined annual raises at the end of each year.

What are the benefits of joining Agniveer Vayu?
- Candidates chosen for the Indian Air Force under the Agnipath Scheme are entitled to medical care at Service Hospitals as well as CSD benefits.
- Along with the monthly package, workers will receive IAF-specific risk and hardship allowances, as well as dress and travel allowances.
- They will be eligible for prizes and honors in accordance with the Indian Air Force’s criteria.
- Agniveer Vayu will receive 30 yearly leaves in addition to the sick leaves depending on their medical opinion.
- They will be provided with non-contributory insurance coverage in the amount of INR 48 lakhs for the duration of their employment, however, they will be ineligible for Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF) schemes/benefits.
