• BSSC CGL Prelims Exam – Mode of Exam: Online, Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes, Number of Questions: 150, Marks: 600, Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer, Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer, Question Type: Objective Type
• BSSC CGL Mains Exam – Mode of Exam: Online, Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes for each paper, Number of Papers: 2
• Paper 1:
• Hindi Language: 100 questions (400 marks)
• Minimum qualifying marks of 30% required to be eligible for Paper 2
• Paper 2:
• Section A – General Studies: 50 questions (200 marks)
• Section B – General Science and Math: 50 questions (200 marks)
• Section C – Reasoning Ability: 50 questions (200 marks)

BSSC 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates seeking graduate-level positions must take the Combined Graduate Level examination, which includes prelims and mains stages. They must be familiar with the marking scheme, question number, and exam duration. Candidates must refer to the exam pattern for both stages.

BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern

The BSSC CGL Vacancy 2024 preliminary examination, consisting of 600 marks, is qualifying. Candidates can access a detailed exam pattern through points and tables.

• There will be a total of 150 questions from General Science & Maths, General Studies, Logical Reasoning/Mental Ability/Comprehension subjects.
• All questions will be objective-type questions.
• Each question carries 4 marks i.e. candidates will get +4 for every correct answer.
