Note- Applicants must not have knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins or squinty eyes and should have CP III by ISIHARA book. Applicants' colour vision will be tested with the ISHIHARA test and the Edrich Green Lantern test.
ii) Nationality - Applicants must be of sound mind and body, and have no physical infirmity or deformity that would prevent them from properly performing their duties.
iii) Number of attempts- The applicant must be an Indian. Applicants from anywhere in the country may apply, but must meet the other criteria to be considered for the positions. BSF has not set a limit on the number of attempts. Any interested applicant may apply as many times as they wish, provided they meet the age limit and other criteria.
iv) Experience- No prior experience is required for Group C positions. Failure to meet any of the criteria will result in disqualification from the selection process.
v) Tattoo-
In regards to the tattoo, the following details are provided:

Phase-2
Document Verification
The candidates will be called for verification of their original documents. Document verification is an important stage to confirm the eligibility of the candidates. All the candidates who have applied for various vacancies under the BSF will have to produce their original documents. Candidates who fail to produce their documents on the stated day will be disqualified from the further selection process. It is requested that candidates keep their documents ready as soon as the date for exams is announced.
Physical Standards Test (PST)
Candidates who have provided the required documents to the recruitment board will be called for the PST. The PST is carried out by the selection board of the BSF. Candidates will be assessed based on the measurement of their physical characteristics such as height, weight, and chest size. Candidates who do not match the required physical standards will be disqualified from further selection rounds.
