The provisional answer key for the BSF HCM (Head Constable Ministerial) and ASI Steno (Assistant Sub Inspector Stenographer) Computer-Based Test will be released in October 2026. Note: The Jaipur exam shift on September 2 was canceled due to administrative reasons and has been rescheduled for September 18, 2026. The answer key for that specific shift is likely to be processed shortly after the re-exam.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the exam date for the posts of Head Constable Ministerial (HCM) and Assistant Sub Inspector Stenographer (ASI). According to the notice, the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the posts of Head Constable (Ministerial) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) will commence from 1st September 2026.

• The candidates who have applied for any of the vacant posts need to go through their syllabus topics thoroughly to score good marks in the upcoming CBT exam.
• The exam will be conducted in online mode at various centers across the country.
• The BSF HCM ASI Admit Card 2026 will be released on the official website https://bsf.gov.in 04 days before examination.
• Candidate Login: Candidates have to login to BSF official portal with their REGISTRATION NUMBER and DATE OF BIRTH & fill in the captcha code to get the hall ticket (Admit Card) in PDF format. It is valid for proof of eligibility and entry pass at the examination center.

BSF Head Constable Ministerial | ASI Steno 2024 : Recruitment

The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the latest notification for the recruitment of 1283 Head Constable (HC) Ministerial/ Combatant Ministerial), Havildar (Clerk), and 243 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI)- Stenographer in CAPFs (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB, AR). The CAPF HC Ministerial and ASI Steno Vacancy 2024 Notification has been released by the Border Security Force (BSF). The eligible candidates can apply online starting from 9 June 2024.
