Jharkhand PGT 2023 | Notification

On 22nd March 2023, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) released the recruitment notification for the Jharkhand PGT 2023 exam. The Jharkhand PGT exam is conducted for the recruitment of PGT teachers in the state of Jharkhand. JSSC has released 3120 PGT vacancies, both regular and backlog. From 5 April 2023 to 4 May 2023, candidates can apply online for Jharkhand PGT Recruitment 2023. Jharkhand PGT 2023 | Overview

Jharkhand PGT 2023 | Eligibility

The Jharkhand PGT encompasses the age limit, educational qualification and experience. The following list details the JSSC Post Graduate Teacher 2023 eligibility. Candidates must review the Jharkhand PGT 2023 eligibility to ensure they are qualified for the positions.

  • Minimum age - 21 yr
  • Maximum age (General/EWS) - 40 yr
  • Maximum age (OBC/BC)- 42 yr

Jharkhand PGT Educational qualification

Candidates must have completed one of the educational eligibility criteria which has been mentioned in the list below:
  • Candidates must have a Master's degree in a related subject with 50% marks from a recognised university for the OBC Category and 45% for the SC/ ST Category with B.ED.
  • Candidates must have a Master's degree in a related subject and a B.A.Ed/B.Sc.ED with a minimum of 50%.
  • Candidates must have a Master's degree in a related subject with a 55% average and a three-year B.ED/M.ED degree.

Jharkhand PGT Experience

A candidate must be a TGT teacher with 3 years of experience in a government school.

The Jharkhand PGT exam encompasses the two stages of selection, which are:
  • Stage 1- Mains Examination or (JSSC PGTTCE)
  • Stage 2- Document verification

Jharkhand PGT 2023 | Exam Pattern

The JSSC PGT exam pattern must be analysed by the candidate. Candidates will be required to take two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. Candidates will be given three hours each for Paper I and Paper II.
