Candidates must have passed Intermediate/Graduation/B.Ed./JTET from any recognised University.

12th (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

12th grade (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education.
OR Graduation with 50% marks and a two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Special Education
OR
Master's degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks and a three-year Bed-Med course

A B.Ed degree/Bed Special Education from a recognised university/institute and a Graduation/Post Graduation degree with 50% marks are required.
