HP TET November 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education administers the Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (HP TET) to determine candidates' eligibility for teaching positions (TGT & JBT) in schools throughout Himachal Pradesh. The HP TET Exam for the November 2026 cycle will be held in three shifts between 22 November, 29 November and 06 December 2026. Ten subjects will be recruited (TGT and Special Educator).

Age Limit
The age of the candidates who are applying for the HP TET Exam 2026 must not be less than 18 years. However, there is no bar for an upper age limit.

HP TET 2026 Selection Process
- Candidates appearing for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) will be shortlisted based on their performance in the HP TET Offline Exam.
- HP TET is only an eligibility test; qualifying the exam does not guarantee a job.
- After qualifying HP TET, candidates must apply separately for recruitment in schools where HP TET certification is required.
- To obtain the HP TET Certificate, candidates must score at least 60% marks in the exam.
- Only candidates with the HP TET certificate are eligible to apply for teaching vacancies that mandate it.
