EPFO SSA 2023 | Notification
Recently, Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) released the EPFO Social Security Assistant SSA & Stenographer recruitment advertisement for 2859 posts. The EPFO SSA exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) pan India. Interested candidates can apply online from 27th March 2023 on the official website. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is one of two major statutory social security bodies under the Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Government of India, responsible for the regulation and management of provident funds in India, the other being Employees' State Insurance. EPFO SSA 2023 | Skill test
After qualifying the EPFO phase 1, candidates will receive the phase 2 admit card. Phase 2 is the EPFO skill test, which will be different for both posts. The EPFO skill test 2023 details are provided below.
EPFO SSA Skill test
Candidates will be required to take a Skill Test to determine their speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work.

A computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. (For Data Entry Work, 35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
EPFO Stenographer Skill test
Candidates who are shortlisted in the Phase I Examination will be required to take the Stenography Skill Test. The time allotted is as follows:

Dictation: Ten minutes at the rate of eighty words per minute. (Dictation will be computer based).

Transcription: Fifty minutes (English) / Sixty-five minutes
(Hindi). (Only on the computer).
