BOPT Lower Division Clerk: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria prescribed for the lower division clerk position covers, Educational qualification and Age limit as follows: 

Educational and Skill Qualification

1. 12th Class or Equivalent from a Recognized board
2. Typing Speed: 
   1. English - 35 Words per minute OR
   2. Hindi - 30 Words per minute

Age Limit

Age limit for direct recruitment is 27 Years (as on 22.11.2022) 

Note: Relaxations for reserved category applicants shall not be applicable to EWS category applicants as their
candidature shall be treated as Unreserved.

Recruitment Process for LDC

The selection process for the Lower Division clerk will be completed in 2 steps as follows- 

1. Written Test
2. Skill Test

Selection Criteria

1. The minimum qualifying marks for both written and skill tests will be 50 marks.
2. Only those candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the skill test.
3. A merit list will be prepared with the sum total of marks obtained by the candidate in the Written Test and Skill Test.
