UPSC Civil Services 2026 | Application Fee

To apply online for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026, an individual must pay a 100 rupee application fee via debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI. 

UPSC Civil Services: Eligibility Criteria

  1. Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  2. Age Limit: The candidate must be between 21 and 32 years of age, with relaxation for certain categories.
  3. Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  4. Number of Attempts: General category candidates can attempt the exam six times, with relaxations for reserved category candidates.

UPSC Civil Services | Exam Pattern 2026

  • The preliminary examination consists of two objective papers: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II (also known as CSAT). Both papers were submitted on the same day. As a result, Paper I covers subjects such as history, geography, politics, economics, and current events.
