YIL ITI/ Non-ITI Recruitment 2023 | Notification
The Government of India's Skill India Mission Online applications are being invited from Indian citizens for the 57th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendments thereto in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located across India. The total number of vacancies is approximately 5395, with 3508 being ITI and 1887 being non-ITI. The hired apprentices will receive training in Indian Ordnance Factories located throughout India. There two types of eligibility for YIL ITI/Non-ITI recruitment 2023, which are given below:
YIL ITI/Non-ITI recruitment 2023 Age limit
Age limit of the candidate should be between 15 to 24 years, as on 28.03.2023, Relaxation in the upper age limit is permitted under:

a) For SC/ST Candidates - 05 (Five) years

b) For OBC (Non Creamy Layer) Candidates- 03 (Three) years

c) For Physically Handicapped (PH) /Physically Challenged (PC) or Differently Abled Candidates- Additional 10 (Ten) years over the category limit i.e.

d) For ITI Candidates- Upper age limit is further relaxed by the period of training already undergone as per the normal duration of NCVT/SCVT, in the relevant trade.

For Non-ITI Candidates- Should have Passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as on date of notification for applying with minimum 50% marks as per criteria of that Board. (as per their Marksheet) and with minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each.

For ITI Candidates-

Should have passed relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 with minimum 50% marks. The relevant trade to be considered will be strictly on the basis of Schedule I of Apprentice Act 1961 (and amendments thereof).

Selection will be done on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI category. The merit list for NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects or best of 5 subjects as per criteria of that 10th Board, as entered by the candidate in the online application form.

YIL ITI/ Non-ITI Recruitment 2023 | Medical Examination
After successful document verification of the provisionally selected candidates, medical examination will be conducted by the respective Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factory. The date, time and venue of the Medical Examination will be communicated separately by the respective factory only. Candidates who passed in the medical examination will be considered for processes of TA engagement.
