UPPSC RO/ARO 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) posts is conducted in three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Typing Test.
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam – The prelims exam includes 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions. To qualify, candidates from the SC/ST category must secure at least 35% marks, while candidates from other categories need a minimum of 40% marks.
Stage 2: Main Examination – Candidates who clear the prelims are eligible to appear for the mains exam. This stage consists of three papers: General Studies, General Hindi, and Drafting & Hindi Essay.
