CMAT 2023 | Notification
NTA has published the CMAT 2023 notice and started the registration process from February 13, 2023. NTA is expected to conduct the CMAT on March, 2023. However, the date of the CMAT exam has not yet been announced by the National Testing Agency. Please check the link below for official notification-

CMAT 2023 | Eligibility

Students who have achieved 50% of the qualifying grades in their undergraduate degree may complete the CMAT 2023 application form.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Candidates who are in their final year of undergraduate studies and whose results will be announced before commencement of admission for the academic year 2023-2024 may also apply for the exam.

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

There is no age restriction for participating in the CMAT exam.
CMAT 2023 | Selection Process
NTA will no longer play a role after the CMAT 2023 results are announced. Applicants will be selected for further rounds of admission based on their CMAT score. CMAT colleges have their own selection criteria by which applicants are selected for the admissions process. Applicants applying for CMAT are therefore advised to find out about the CMAT selection process of the particular institution to which they intend to apply for admission.
CMAT is a nationwide entrance examination conducted for admission to MBA programs at participating institutions. The CMAT selection process consists mainly of three rounds after the publication of the CMAT score/merit list-

According to the CMAT 2023 exam scheme-

CMAT 2023 | Answer Key

The preliminary 2023 CMAT answer key will be published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after the test is administered. The CMAT answer key will be helpful to the candidates who appear for the CMAT exam and those who have downloaded the result. Candidates must download the answer key from the official website to avoid any discrepancies. Candidates can also challenge the answer key for a certain period of time. Candidates can now estimate their score by comparing their answers with those in the CMAT answer key and calculate the score accordingly.

If a candidate has any doubt about any answer in the answer key, he/she can challenge the key with valid evidence by submitting an explanation within a few days of the publication of the CMAT answer key.

Candidates must know the grading scheme of the exam to calculate their scores using the answer key.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the CMAT 2023 result probably in the last week of April. Candidates can download their CMAT result card from the official website cmat.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to enter their CMAT application number, date of birth and security number to check their CMAT results.

Q. Does NTA announce CMAT cut offs?
Ans- No, the NTA does not announce CMAT cut offs. The participating colleges fix admission cut offs on their own on the basis of seats available, difficulty level of the exam and range of scores.
Q. How do I check my CMAT results?
Ans- The 2023 CMAT result will be announced online by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CMAT result will be made available on the official website and candidates can download it using their login IDs. CMAT Exam 2023 is expected to be held in the last week of March or first week of April.
Q. Does IIM accept CMAT scores?
Ans- CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India conducted by NTA. It is accepted by many of the top B-schools in India, except IIMs.
Q. Is CMAT more difficult than CAT?
Ans- CMAT is a much easier exam than CAT, as the questions are easier and there is no sectional time limit. Those who have cleared CAT can easily clear the CMAT as well. The scores of both exams are widely accepted by more than 1,000 MBA colleges in India.
