DSSSB TGT, PGT, PRT 2023 | Notification

A few days back, Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) in an RTI reply stated that 12191 vacancies are to be filled for DSSSB TGT, PGT, PRT 2023 recruitment. But recently, in a new RTI released by DSSSB, the number of vacancies has increased to 16546 and hence students can expect a huge number of DSSSB vacancies this year for TGT, PGT, PRT and non-teaching posts. Below is the list of updated vacancies. The candidates who fulfil the required eligibility criteria for these posts can submit their online application when the application opens on the official website - www.dsssb.delhi.gov.in

DSSSB eligibility criteria vary depending on the position for which a candidate is applying, according to the official announcement. However, the basic parameters that candidates must meet to satisfy DSSSB eligibility 2023 for various positions are provided below-

PGT Vacancy

Earlier, the response published by DSSSB RTI did not mention any PGT posts, but this time DSSSB has informed that there are 4857 sanctioned PGT posts, 4219 filled PGT posts and 638 PGT  vacant posts . Candidates can now start preparing for the PGT vacancies as it is expected that the PGT vacancies will be published soon along with other vacancies. It is a great opportunity for all those candidates who were earlier discouraged by the response from RTI and they can now start their preparation with much more enthusiasm.

TGT Vacancy

Earlier, the response RTI mentioned 11502 vacancies, but according to the latest updates, 12 275 vacancies are now released for TGT teachers. Of the total 12,275 vacancies, 951 are in TGT Special Education, which was not previously mentioned, and 368 are in Home Economics. Below is the list of previous TGT vacancies-

PRT Vacancy

According to new data released by the DSSSB in the latest edition of RTI, a total of 3,056 vacancies for PRT and non-teaching positions for teachers are expected to be released. Currently, there are 1079 vacancies for Assistant Primary Teacher, 153 vacancies for Assistant Nursery Teacher, and 376 vacancies for Computer Science have been released.
