Army Agniveer Selection Process

The Indian Army Agniveer Selection Process consists of two stages.

  • Online Test – This is the first stage of recruitment process. The CEE exam will be conducted for General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.
  • Recruitment Rally – Candidates who qualify for the CBT, rally includes physical fitness test (1.6 km of run, pull ups, 9 ft ditch, zig zag balance), physical measurement test (height, weight, and chest measurements) and medical examination.

Army Agniveer Exam Pattern And Syllabus

The Indian Army Agniveer Exam Pattern 2026 is given below:

  • The online test will consist of objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The number of questions and the time duration will vary based on the category of the applicant. Either 50 questions in an hour or 100 questions in two hours must be answered.
  • There will be a negative marking system where 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Unattempted questions will receive no marks.
  • Every right response will receive a full mark.
  • All attempted questions — including those flagged for review—will be taken into account when evaluating candidates.
