JTET 2024 Overview
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will conduct the JTET 2024 exam on September and October 2024. Candidates who wants to be the Part in Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I or II to get awarded with a TET certificate, in order to be appointed as teacher at any government aided school in Jharkhand are hereby notified that notification is released, and window to apply is available from 23 July to 22 August 2024.

JTET2024: Application fees
Candidates applying for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test belonging to General, Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section is ₹1300 for single Paper and ₹1500 for both papers. For SC, ST and PWD, it is ₹700 for Single paper and ₹800 for both papers.
JTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria details for Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I and II is available below. In order to get selected in the recruitment of JTET candidates must fulfill the Eligibility Criterion given by the JAC. Age Limit
Paper 1- A candidate must have turned at least 18 years, and there is no cap for upper age.
Paper 2- One age must be at least 21 years, and there is no provision of an upper age limit.
Education Qualification
Paper 1- One must have passed the Intermediate exam with at least 50% as aggregate; additionally, he or she has completed a two-years Diploma in Elementary Education or four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.
Paper 2- A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree and he or she must hold a two-year Bachelor’s of Education or two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

JTET 2024 will be held in offline mode for each paper, there will be a total number 150 objective questions from different sections, each will be of 1 mark, for any incorrect response or unattempt question, no mark will be deducted
