RRB Group D 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the Railway Group D Exam 2026, candidates must have the following eligibility criteria:
Group D Age Limit (As on 1/1/2026)
As per the short notification, candidates must be between the age of 18 – 33 years as on 1st January 2026. However, age relaxations have been provided to reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and EWS.
Qualification Required
- Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized educational Board. It can be the Central or State Educational Board.
- A candidate must have passed ITI from a recognised Institution or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT. OR,
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering
Nationality
Applicants must be Indian citizens or eligible nationals of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees settled before 1 January 1962, or persons of Indian origin migrating to India. Non-Indian citizens must have a Government of India eligibility certificate.
