About the Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojana
The Himachal Pradesh government has started this post 10+2 scholarship scheme named Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojana. This scholarship is useful for meritorious girls students of Himachal state weather they belong to SC/ST or any other caste. Moreover, the state government started this scheme in the financial year of 2012-13. Additionally, this scheme every year awards 2000 meritorious girls of the state of all streams including Science, Arts and Commerce. In simple words, any Himachal Pradesh girl who is studying in 12th standard can apply for this scheme to get financial support for further studies. The government will provide this scholarship strictly on 10+2 merit declared by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala.

- On the official website of National Scholarship Portal click on “New Registration”.
- After reading the guidelines click on “Continue”.
- Fill the registration form and submit it.
- Then, your application ID and password will be generated.
- Now, come back to home page and click on “Login to Apply”.
- Then login with your application number and pasword.
- With the OTP create a new password and confirm it.
- Then click “Submit”
- Again new page will appear and you have to click on “Application Form”
