What is the RRB Group D Eligibility criteria for 2026?

To be eligible to apply for the Railway Group D Exam 2026, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Group D Age Limit (As on 1/1/2026):

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 33 as of January 1, 2026, according to the brief notification. However, candidates from reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and EWS have been granted age relaxations.

Education Qualification Required:

• Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized educational Board. It can be the Central or State Educational Board.
• A candidate must have passed ITI from a recognized institution or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT. OR,
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering

Nationality

Applicants must be Indian citizens or eligible Nepalese/Bhutanese nationals, Tibetan refugees settled prior to January 1, 1962, or people of Indian descent migrating to India. Non-Indian citizens must hold a Government of India eligibility certificate.
